Low
risk in good weather, beach not ideal
at high tide! Uneven ground on sand.
Avoid groynes on beach, caution in sand
dunes. Beware of cyclists and golfers.
Direction
Proceed
to promenade seaward side of Nova
Centre turning
right following promenade towards
Grand Hotel.
Continue past hotel onto beach taking
sand dune path towards golf links.
Follow tracks through dunes keeping
adjacent to golf course,
turn around when approximately opposite
golf club and
re-trace route or cross dunes back
to promenade. Follow promenade
back
to start point, enjoying coastal views.
This route is not ideal for accurate
measurment as there are several variations,
however it offers a pleasant change
from the promenade.
